BRANCH CHIPPING BEGINS IN APRIL
Chipping service will begin on the following dates during 2026 starting on the side of town listed below:
CHIPPER STARTS ON EAST SIDE OF THE VILLAGE ON:
April 6, May 18, July 27, September 28 and November 2
CHIPPER STARTS ON WEST SIDE OF THE VILLAGE ON:
April 27, June 15, August 24, and October 12
**The chipper goes through the whole Village each chipping date just alternates which side of the Village it starts on**
Once a street has been serviced the chipper crew will not return until the next chipping date - please do not put branches out until the weekend before the chipper week.
Please review all of the branch chipping regulations.
Residents living on a private street or in a private subdivision please call the Public Works Office - 708-671-3721 no later than the Wednesday before the chipping week to schedule chipping service. Residents living in a Private Unit Development (Condo or Townhouse) must submit a request for chipping service through their Home Owners Association.
