commitment to dedicate the right-of-way for Will-Cook Road have been
provided to the Village. Commissioner Milovich-Walters also reported
draft easements reviewed by the Village are acceptable. The Village will

municipalities to serve the greater interests of everyone. The
Metropolitan Mayors Caucus was formed and is recognized as a model of
cooperation for the municipalities in our region. The Village of Palos
Park is a member of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus. The Greenest Region
Compact is designed to improve the regions air, water and land, reduce
greenhouse gases and decrease energy consumption. A priority of the
Greenest Region Compact is CFL bulb distribution. If the resolution
before the Council is passed, the Village will focus on residential
energy consumption by encouraging the use of CFL’s. Mayor Mahoney stated
