Adopt a Highway Program Forms are now available for interested groups, businesses and individuals to adopt a particular roadway and help maintain the beauty of our community. There are two programs available to our residents. The state of Illinois program covers RT. 83, 123rd St., 119th St., Southwest Highway and LaGrange Road. The Beautification Committee program is an attempt to adopt all other streets and roads. Please review the form at the Village Office, and if you are interested in helping, please choose a street that is at least one-half mile in length. For questions, please call (708)448-2700 ext. 131. The State of Illinois program asks that volunteer groups maintain a two mile stretch of roadway. We will attempt to put groups together, if necessary, to share this type of commitment. |
