The challenge is on … Get your family, friends, class mates scout troop, church group or co-workers to compete in the Scarecrow Contest. All you have to do is create a Scarecrow that will be displayed throughout the Autumn In The Park Festival September 18-19 on the Village Green – then get all your friends to come out and vote for your Scarecrow. Winner will receive 2-hour gymnasium rental at the Recreation Center, game attendant and popcorn for everyone. Good luck! (see rules for more information).
The newly opened Cal-Sag Trail is a great time to review safety rules for both automobiles and bicyclists. AAA offers information for maintenance and rules of the road for new and experienced bikers alike.
The Palos Park Recreation Department aims to provide quality recreational opportunities to all age groups through athletic, leisure, cultural, and community programs in an effort to enrich the quality of life and develop a united sense of community.
