Finance Department Assistant

The Village of Palos Park’s Finance Department is seeking to add a Part-Time Finance Assistant. The position’s primary responsibility will be processing Payroll every two weeks and performing various accounting and finance related job functions. Experience in payroll with a strong background in accounting and municipal experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency in the use of computers is required, with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and good at multi-tasking. Typical hours are four weekday days up to 16 hours per week; the hours could vary depending on the candidate. Recreation Center Building Attendant

The Palos Park Recreation and Parks Department is hiring for a part time Building Attendant. This position is mainly evening hours, 2-3 times a week with additional time during special events and rentals on weekends. Duties would include daily upkeep of the Recreation Center, class set ups, rental supervision and additional assigned responsibilities.

Recreation Center Program Instructors

The Recreation Department is searching for energetic instructors who can take lead roles to teach youth in tennis, basketball, t-ball, soccer, dance, poms, cheer leading and more. If you can lead children and have a background in sports this job is for you.

Hours: Vary
Fee Range: $8.25 – $12 depending on your skills
