Donna O’Brien
Scholarship:
Alex Bratsos, jr. at Morgan Park Academy from Palos Park.
Alex will attend the five week National High School Film and Video
Production Program at Northwestern University this summer. An Academic
Merit Scholar at MPA, Alex's portfolio already displays her artistic
talents in film making, drawing, photography and with the written word.
The Assistant Dean describes her as a young woman with incredible raw
talent, wit and a true passion for the arts. |

PFA Scholarship :
Jacqueline Lewis, sr. at Marist High School from Orland Park.
Jacqueline will attend DePaul University to study Management and Art
History while continuing her dance studies at Lou Conte's Hubbard Street
Dance School. An honor student at Marist she began dancing at three and
has taken classes that include ballet, jazz and tap. She adds that she's
a lover of all types of art but her greatest talent lies in the
"beautiful world of movement". |

PFA Scholarship:
Catherine Foreman, sr. at Stagg High School, from Palos Park.
Catherine will attend the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and
seek a Piano Performance Degree.
She's been a vocalist and has played the piano since she was very young.
As well as participating in band and choir throughout high school, she
was the Alto Section Leader of the Varsity Choir and the Low Woodwind
section leader of the marching band and played the piano in the Jazz
Band and Pit Orchestra. She also plays clarinet, teaches piano, plays
piano at St. Alexander and is part of Jazz Trio. |

PFA Scholarship:
Maggie Miller, jr. at Stagg High School, from Palos Hills.
Maggie will put her scholarship money toward her future goal of majoring
in Fine Arts. She's already looking at colleges in New York and
California. At an early age Maggie began to dance at Stage Door Dance
Academy and hasn't quit. She's competed in a number of dance
competitions, won several titles and earned an intensive summer
scholarship to Retter's Academy and Clifton Dance (both in LA), she's
also attended Tap University in North Carolina and Elevate in Chicago.
Her ultimate goal is to open her own dance studio and be able to move
people. |
