Our Mission Statement:
In our desire to enhance our profession and to advance ourselves:

We act to preserve the unique ambience of the Village and to work collectively to prevent crime, protect life and property, and maintain order.

We pledge to uphold the Mission Statement of the Village, and all Village Ordinances. We will uphold the Code of Ethics of the Palos Park Police Department and support all State and Federal Laws.

We strive to work as partners and mentors with other law enforcement agencies at the local, State, and Federal levels, and to serve as a valuable point of reference for our own Village, and to follow the rules and regulations, and policies and procedures of the Palos Park Police Department.

We pledge to be role models within our own community, both on and off duty, and will endeavor to improve our professional and formal education levels, to stay well trained.

We vow to be courageous in the face of danger, prepared for any eventuality, and to be a visible police presence within the Village. We will maintain our ethical conduct and objectivity, but will never be unduly influenced or improperly pressured in the performance of our sworn duties.

We recognize our persistent devotion to duty, integrity, service, and that self-respect is the cornerstone of our police department, and the foundation for all we do.
