2008 FALL TREE PLANTING PROGRAM

The Village will again be conducting its annual fall tree and shrub planting program.  If you would like a tree or shrub and you have space along your public right-of-way to support healthy growth of the planting please call Public Works to be considered for the Fall Tree planting program.  Resident’s can receive 2 trees that would be planted in their adjacent right-of-way.  State and County rights-of-way (Rt. 83, 119th St., 123rd St., LaGrange Rd., Southwest Highway, 80th Ave., 86th Ave., and Wolf Rd.) are excluded from this program.  Requests from residents who have not participated in this program previously will be honored first.  Requests from homeowners who received plantings in prior years will be honored if funding allows.  The Village is not allowed to plant on private property, including planned unit developments or State and County rights-of-way.  To place a request, please call the Village Hall at 448-2700 and leave choice of tree or shrub, name, address, and daytime phone.  Requests must be received no later than August 31, 2008.
