IRMA ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION AND DEDUCTIBLE: Village Manager Boehm reported Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) has calculated the Village’s 2012 annual contribution at $116,388.00 for Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. This contribution is based on the Village’s revenue base, multiplied by a rate charged to all members. Fiscal Year 2012 budget contains $130,516.00 for IRMA contributions of which $25,000.00 was budgeted to meet a deductable occurrence. The Village has a surplus credit with IRMA in the amount of $63,105.00. These monies can be used to offset the 2012 contribution or left in the IRMA account to earn investment income at the same rate as IRMA’s investment portfolio to act as a cushion should a deductible be needed in the remaining months of Fiscal Year 2012 or into 2013.
