Metra Station's Payment Drop Box Locations
Metra Station: A Payment Drop box is located at the Metra Station outside the main entrance on the east side of the building.
Kaptur Administrative Center: A Payment Drop Box is located on the east side of the Kaptur Administrative Center’s parking lot. Residents can drop off utility bills, parking citations, and recreation registration.
Display Parking Placards
Placards must be placed in the lower driver’s side corner of vehicle’s front window. The placard, like the daily cash payment method, is valid only Monday through Friday from ½ hour prior to the first inbound train to Chicago until a 1/2 hour after the last outbound train from Chicago. It does not cover overnight or weekend parking. Please note that having a placard does not guarantee a parking space.
Bikes On the Train
Bicycles are permitted on all weekday trains arriving in Chicago after 9:30 a.m. and leaving Chicago before 3 p.m. and after 7 p.m., and on all weekend trains. There are some exceptions, for more information, view an online resource.
As a reminder, Metra reserves the right to prohibit bicycles if coaches are crowded or access is impeded, and makes no assurances that space will be available for bicycles. Individual cyclists must be at least 16 years old. Riders aged 12 through 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 are not permitted.
